How does the pricing work?

Mississippi Tent charges for a one-event usage. Each rental is for a maximum of 1-4 days—starting from the day of delivery—depending on the product rented.

When should I make my reservation?

Early planning ensures product availability. It is always best to make a reservation at your earliest convenience. We take reservations for many events a year or so in advance. We also take orders for same day events.

Can I specify a specific time for delivery and pickup?

Specific times can be ordered for additional fees. Standard deliveries or pickups are scheduled AM or PM

What kind of services can I expect when the truck arrives?

Standard delivery/pickup is for drop off only. If delivery is to be made to a specific floor or if a delivery destination requires extra time, an additional labor fee will apply. Our personnel are instructed to neatly stack all items in a mutually convenient place. If you desire all or some of the items to be set up, please inform your salesperson at time of order. This allows us to place your order on a truck with the needed personnel to handle your request…please note, there is a fee for set-up and tear-down.

What happens if an item is broken, damaged, or missing?

A replacement fee will be charged for all items broken, damaged or missing.

How and when do I pay?

A reservation deposit is due at time of the original order. All orders must be paid in  full upon installation for the event. We accept MasterCard, Visa, a check or cash.

What if I need to change part of my order?

We are a very customer service oriented company. We realize things do change in event planning and we welcome your call or visit.

Is there a fee for delivery and pickup?

Yes. Fees are determined by your location.

What if I’m not home when the truck arrives?

Please call our office and instruct where items are to be placed. Also, we would like all phone numbers you have available so our drivers may contact you. If you have left no instructions and we arrive, it may cost and extra trip fee.

What is my responsibility for merchandise return?

You have full responsibility of all rental equipment until a representative of Mississippi Tent arrives. After weekend events we start picking up orders Monday-Tuesday. If you have only requested a standard delivery and pickup, please have all rental equipment broken down or placed in an accessible area for pickup.

Do I need a tent permit?

Tent permits are required based on the town your event is being held in. Obtaining a permit is the responsibility of the customer. Contact the local building inspector’s office to find out if one is required for your event site. We are available to assist you in filling out the form and providing any necessary paperwork required about the tent itself.
